1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using the Valerian Beauty website (hereinafter referred to as the "Site"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these Terms and Conditions, please do not use the Site.

 

2. Use of the Site

  • You agree to use the Site only for lawful purposes and in a manner that does not infringe the rights of, or restrict or inhibit the use and enjoyment of, the Site by any third party.   
  • You agree not to use the Site in any way that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair the Site or interfere with any other party's use of the Site.   
  • You agree not to use any automated means, including, but not limited to, scripts and spiders, to access, collect, or use information from the Site.
  • You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account information, including your password. You agree to notify Valerian Beauty immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.   

3. Product Information

  • Valerian Beauty strives to provide accurate and up-to-date information on the Site. However, we do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of any information on the Site.   
  • Product descriptions and images are for illustrative purposes only and may not accurately reflect the actual product.
  • Valerian Beauty reserves the right to change or discontinue any product or service offered on the Site at any time without notice.

4. Orders and Purchases

  • All orders placed on the Site are subject to product availability.
  • Valerian Beauty reserves the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason.
  • Prices for products are subject to change without notice.
  • All prices displayed on the Site are in US Dollar and exclude applicable taxes and shipping charges.
  • You are responsible for paying all applicable taxes and shipping charges associated with your order.

5. Shipping and Delivery

  • Valerian Beauty will use commercially reasonable efforts to ship your order within [9-20 days].
  • Delivery times may vary depending on your location and the shipping method selected.
  • Valerian Beauty is not responsible for any delays in delivery caused by factors beyond our control, such as weather conditions or carrier delays.

6. Returns and Refunds

  • VB Team wants to ensure you and your are always happy with your orders. If there is damage with your product, then VB will replace/refund the product.

    If your product is damaged (e.g., cracked or broken), please reach out to us at contact@valerianbeauty.com with necessary information and photographic/video evidence for investigation.

    If the box or packaging is damaged, we kindly ask that you send us a photo before opening it so we can fairly assess your claim. Rest assured that we’ll do all that we can to provide the best solution depending on each situation.

    Please be aware that we package items as securely as possible but minimal dents/scuffing can be possible during courier shipment. Note as well that it's normal for palettes to have some dusting around the outside of the pans - this is not considered damage.

7. Intellectual Property

  • All content on the Site, including but not limited to text, images, logos, and trademarks, is the property of Valerian Beauty or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
  • You may not use any content from the Site without the prior written consent of Valerian Beauty.   

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

  • THE SITE AND ALL INFORMATION, CONTENT, MATERIALS, AND PRODUCTS INCLUDED ON OR OTHERWISE MADE AVAILABLE TO YOU THROUGH THE SITE ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO THE IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.   
  • VALERIAN BEAUTY MAKES NO WARRANTIES OR REPRESENTATIONS ABOUT THE ACCURACY OR COMPLETENESS OF THE SITE'S CONTENT OR THAT THE SITE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED.

9. Limitation of Liability

  • IN NO EVENT SHALL VALERIAN BEAUTY BE LIABLE FOR ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR IN ANY WAY CONNECTED WITH THE USE OF THE SITE OR WITH THE DELAY OR INABILITY TO USE THE SITE, OR FOR ANY INFORMATION, PRODUCTS, OR SERVICES OBTAINED THROUGH THE SITE, OR OTHERWISE ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF THE SITE, WHETHER BASED ON CONTRACT, TORT, STRICT LIABILITY, OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF VALERIAN BEAUTY HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES.   

10. Indemnification

  • You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Valerian Beauty and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, agents, licensors, and suppliers from and against all claims, losses, liabilities, expenses, and costs (including, but not limited to, attorneys' fees) arising out of your use of the Site, your violation of these Terms and Conditions, or your violation of any rights of another.

  • Valerian Beauty reserves the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice.
  • Your continued use of the Site following the posting of any changes to these Terms and Conditions constitutes your acceptance of such changes.   

13. Product quality testing (Patch test)

  1. Apply the product to a small patch of skin where a person is unlikely to accidentally wash or rub it away. Good areas may include the inside of the arm or bend of the elbow.
  2. Apply the product to a quarter-sized patch of skin. A person should apply the product as thickly as they would when using it regularly.
  3. Leave the product on the patch of skin for as long as it would normally be on the skin. If a person is testing a product that they would usually wash off, such as a cleanser, they should keep the patch on for 5 minutes or as long as the instructions advise.
  4. Repeat the patch test twice a day for between 7–10 days. A reaction may not happen immediately, so it is important to continue applying the product for this length of time.
  5. If a person’s skin reacts to the product, they should wash it off as soon as possible and stop using it. A person can use a cool compress or petroleum jelly to relieve the skin if needed.Skin care products may contain many different ingredients. By performing a patch test on a small area of skin, a person can see how their skin tolerates a product before committing to using the product over a larger area.
